A Donation to Strengthen Education in the Digital Era<\/strong>
\nOn Friday, September 12, 2025, the Semlex For Education Foundation donated computer equipment to the Dominique Ouattara Girls\u2019 High School in Man. The objective: to expand the school\u2019s teaching resources and give students real access to digital tools.<\/p>\n

Motivation and Scope of the Initiative<\/strong>
\nAccording to Assi Willis, Head of Procurement and Logistics at Semlex<\/a> Ivory Coast, this gesture is part of an education support program that has been running for five years. He also emphasized the importance of reaching beyond Abidjan to target more remote or crisis-affected areas, such as the city of Man, in order to provide tangible assistance where equipment is lacking.<\/p>\n

Reactions and Expectations<\/strong>
\nDiomand\u00e9 Banty Th\u00e9r\u00e8se, the school principal, welcomed the initiative with great appreciation. She recalled that the school\u2019s multimedia room, opened in 2012, had until now been equipped with outdated and often unusable materials. This donation therefore represents a concrete strengthening of existing capacities.<\/p>\n

For the students, it is a powerful source of motivation: access to modern technologies opens new horizons, fosters greater engagement, and contributes to improving the quality of education.<\/p>\n

Link with National Vision and Academic Excellence<\/strong>
\nThe school ranked 3rd at the regional level and 11th nationwide in the 2025 baccalaureate results, already demonstrating a strong academic record.
